Engine room simulator low speed - Virtual Engine Room
Virtual Engine Room is a PC-based low speed diesel engine simulator with two screen support and 14 tests developed to comply with STCW. VER trains students in typical ships engine room operating routines with the support of integrated checklists.
VER simulates a conventional low-speed diesel and as a new option, an extra module can be added which simulates the same engineroom with electronic control. Customers can select either option, or choose a combined package.
Both types of engine can be supplied with accompanying console hardware, in a package called Engine Room Console 4.5XL. This provides a full-size control console and matching cabinets on which to position a further two PCs.
