ECDIS Hardware

To offer customers more choice, we have several ECDIS hardware options to suit different bridge layouts.

Navmaster 700 comprises a 20.1" monitor and separate processor.

Navmaster 800 comprises a 24" widescreen monitor and separate rack-mount processor.

Navmaster 1000 comprises a panel PC combining monitor and processor into one unit.

Each of these ECDIS systems is type approved, but please note that the type approval certificate covers each entire unit as a whole; it is not possible to mix and match components between the systems.

Each system can be easily retrofitted into existing vessels; for example the Navmaster ECDIS 1000 panel PC can be mounted on a pedestal or on a counter top; for the modular options, the PC processor can be stored in under-counter housing with TFT display, keyboard and trackball at the conning position. Alternatively each ECDIS system can be built into an integrated bridge consoles at newbuild or major refit stage.
