Nine windfarm newbuild vessels are having Navmaster installed as their navigation system.
Built by South Boats in Cowes on the Isle of Wight, seven vessels will be deployed by Holyhead Marine and two by Maritime Craft Services. Both companies are long-term users of Navmaster on their existing vessels.
South Boats build workboats for the offshore wind power industry, ranging from 12m to over 30m. The design of the aluminium and GRP catamarans provides excellent seakeeping capabilities and crew comfort.
The electronics fit is provided by Boat Electrics & Electronics which supplies, installs and services marine electronic and electrical equipment in the UK and overseas - in 2010 BEE Ltd had engineers working in the Falkland Isles, Portugal, Italy, Netherlands, Uruguay and France.
