Proudman Tidal Stream Modules
This range of official tidal stream modules covers the UK and Continental shelf. Each module consists of a grid of data points plotted every seven miles over the whole sea area. Every data point has been validated against observed currents by the well-respected Proudman Oceanographic Laboratory. The modules work within Navmaster only, not as stand-alone programs. There is no need for updates; the data lasts indefinitely.

Tidal Module Areas- Standard Model
Each area consists of a grid of data points approximately every 12km. Proudman Oceanographic Laboratory, the UK's tidal research centre, has validated every data point against observed currents. The minimum observation period at each data point is 30 days

NOO1 - Norway Bergen to Alesund & Shetland
Fine Model - English Channel
Each area consists of a grid of data points approximately every 1.2km, giving signficantly more tidal data than the Standard Model. Available in three single areas: -
- Penzance to Swanage
- Portland to Hastings
- Eastbourne to Harwich
Ocean Model- North East Atlantic
Each area consists of a grid of data points approximately every 35Km. Available in four different areas.
