Marine diesel engine diagnostic simulator upgraded

Turbo Diesel, the PC-based training program which makes the user responsible for operating and maintaining a marine diesel engine, is now in an upgraded version 3.

Turbo Diesel v3 has a revised user interface, a new starting air auxiliary system, a new trend diagram for parameter deviations and the turbocharging system is now animated which greatly improves the effectiveness of information flow to the user.

The new version can also be networked so that an instructor can monitor his students online. The package includes free instructor software for LAN installation, and a ready-made framework for instructors to create their own lessons with multiple choice questions linked to the simulated engine.

First launched in 1997, Turbo Diesel is used by colleges and training companies all over the world.
