Navmaster ECDIS gets Germanischer Lloyd Type Approval |

PC Maritime, a member of the Charente Group, has received Type Approval from Germanischer Lloyd (GL) for its Navmaster ECDIS. The GL Approval is in addition to the existing DNV Approval and was achieved in collaboration with PC Maritime's agents Veinland GmbH and Lilley & Gillie.
Gerald Rynkowski, managing director of Veinland, commented that Type Approval has removed a key barrier to marketing PC Maritime Navmaster ECDIS to German clients:
Veinland GmbH was founded in 2006 by Dipl Ing Gerald Rynkowski and Fred Ahrens and is located in Neuseddin, close to Berlin. Veinland's business is involved in hardware and software for maritime and industrial markets and sees it undertake research, development, consultancy, maintenance and servicing of systems. This year, in just the company's second year of operation, Veinland expanded into two exciting markets, with Veinland North America Inc in Boston, USA and Veinland Asia Ltd in Hong Kong being established. April 2007
