Engine Room CBT, a unique set of computer based training software for marine engineers from PC Maritime, has been enhanced with the addition of three major new modules. Engine Room CBT provides a combination of simulator and multimedia training on a wide variety of engine room plant and machinery. The sound and graphics ensure that the modules portray the equipment and reflect the consequences of the trainee's actions realistically. Some of the modules are furthermore able to simulate faulty operations, a feature impossible under real conditions. Now installed in over 50 countries around the world, Engine Room CBT can be purchased from PC Maritime and its dealers, and existing customers can purchase upgrades on favourable terms.
