PC Maritime is exhibiting the Navmaster ECDIS and ECS product range at the Connecticut Maritime Association's annual Shipping and Trade show.
This move is part of PC Maritime's drive to expand its presence overseas and to introduce the company's second-generation electronic chart products to the US market. It follows a series of successful presentations in the Far East, India, Cyprus and Europe.
The Navmaster ECDIS was recently Type Approved by DNV, and is compatible with a wide range of electronic charts including ENC, BSB, C-Map, ARCS and Seafarer. The company also offers lower-cost electronic chart system options, providing all the benefits of e-navigation without the higher costs of type approved equipment, and office-based charting solutions.
PC Maritime is also seeking to forge alliances with locally-based marine electronics companies for US sales and distribution.

Managing Director David Edmonds, a leading industry expert on electronic navigation, regulatory matters and ECDIS/ECS training, will be present at Booth 44 in Salon III during Shipping 2006.
