ARCS Skipper Service

The ARCS Skipper Service provides charts without a weekly updating service. You purchase the charts outright, rather than lease them on an annual basis. There is a minimum first ARCS Skipper order of 10 charts, but thereafter you can buy in any quantity.

You can update your charts subsequently, but only quarterly or annually.

ARCS Skipper Update Prices

Annual Update. All your charts will be updated once during a twelve month period. The cost depends upon the number of charts you own.

Up to 19 charts or 1 folio £20
21-29 charts or 2 folios £30
30-39 charts or 3 folios £45
40+ charts or 4+ folios £60

Quarterly Update. All your charts will be updated four times during the year. Price excludes postage.

Facts about Charts and Carriage Requirements

Two ENC centres, Primar and IC-ENC, have joined forces to create a useful guide to the regulatory issues surrounding ECDIS and electronic charts. 'Facts about Charts and Carriage Requirements' is written in an easy to read "question and answer" style and addresses over twenty of the most commonly asked questions. It comes with extensive annexes detailing regulations in force for a number of Flag States, and will be expanded and updated to ensure it remains accurate.
